Billed as ‘Europe’s largest bakery’, the Warburtons’ super bakery in Wakefield is the size of three football pitches and produces 131million loaves and 40 million packets of bread a year. So when we were asked to take our part in the £60million development, we were happy to rise to the occasion!
Working directly for Warburtons Bakery, based in Bolton, we provided a thorough service from connection design, detail, fabrication, erection, in-house shot blasting and painting, right through to metal decking and stairs for this mammoth facility on their 13 acre site.
